Ah okay, thanks for the heads up. The sonar data is currently exported form my sonar device in excel / .csv format. Can the conversion to raster be done within a GIS program like SAGA or does that need to be done separately? – Liam Murphy Nov 5 '20 at 14:53

The sonar itself scans about 15 times per second, this is why most data lines are without coordinates. It is only possible to export bathymetric data created in Boat or On-shore GPS modes of the sonar. Recordings made Standard and Ice Fishing modes will contain only the sonar data, which cannot be exported.
